We are U.S. Coast Guard certified, licensed, and insured U.S. Merchant Marine Officers who bring more than 100 combined years of passion and enthusiasm to the sport of Fishing and Hunting in our USA. Our love for Fishing and Hunting began early in life with my Granddad William (Buddy) Gore and my Grandmother Florence Gore. My granddad was an avid outdoors man and also a Detective for The Tampa Police Department who raised Captain Woody Gore our father.My brother Captain Mike Gore and myself Captain Mark Gore had the best teacher and friend boys could ever have!
We learned things like "yes sir and yes maam" at an early age and how to be polite to your elders! We learned to love this country and what it stood for. These were days when you could let your kids go outside and play by themselves. When you could ride your bike to the nearest pond and wade shell cracker beds and catch snakes,frogs and turtles. Times have changed in the fast paced world today, so let us take you back to a place that time stands still and enjoy our wild outdoors. Relax and enjoy your family! Tell them you love them and play hard today! You never know if tomorrow will be there!
I am doing my best, to keep my heritage alive as a true Florida Native and hopefully my son and daughter will join the ranks with my father,brother and I as great keepers of Florida's beautiful outdoors! Let us guide you through the flats and mangroves of Tampa Bay and the beaches and passes of the Gulf of Mexico on one of our custom boats. We will use the finest tackle to try to catch the trophy of a lifetime, all the while enjoying the incredible natural beauty of this vast wilderness.
Let us take you on a Journey in Old Florida, to hunt Massive Wild Hogs or start off your Grand Slam with an elusive Osceola Turkey in our Florida Swamps and Palmetto flats. You can also Journey with us During Deer season to our Ranches in The Great State of Texas where we proud ourselves in some of the largest Whitetail Bucks you will ever see and some of the greatest populations of Rio Grande Turkeys during a Spring Turkey Hunt. Note! Guide Headquarters would like each guest to practice catch and release.This holds true especially on the large breeder fish,that are Females full of eggs.(see above Picture) Our Father once told us these fish are our business partners. If we take and take, will there be anything left to give? I really believe this is true. If you really desire to take your catch and eat it, I have no problem with you keeping your legal limit. I must say though, it is a great feeling to watch that fish swim away with a clean release and know you might catch them again another day even bigger!! Most of our guest are from out of town and are staying in hotels, and it makes it hard for them to transport the fish without the catch spoiling. The fish you are catching are there today because someone on a trip before you released them. It would be nice to leave fish for our grandkids to catch someday in the future and enjoy our wonderful Tampa Bay like you are today! We all must do our part to keep our wonderful resource! Photos of all Large Fish will be taken with a Quality Digital camera and emailed or mailed to you, they will also be posted on website.
